SEEN Community Update: It’s Survey Time!

Dear SEEN Community,

Over the past month, we have spent time reflecting on the complicated history of our country. We joined with a coalition of justice-minded local organizations on Flag Day to march for the promise of liberty and justice for all. We marked Juneteenth as a community, and recognized the importance taking time to celebrate Black joy while recognizing that the remnants of chattel slavery persist in our society. We grappled with the mismatch between the views of those in the halls of power and the people in our community and how that affects our basic human rights. And we saw the close of another school year.

Amidst these struggles and celebrations, the SEEN Steering Committee also came together to reflect on our past two years of organizing and to look forward to the year ahead and the work to come. We see the moments of accomplishment but we also see all that still needs to be done. We realize that for this work to get done, we need to do it together – therefore, we have decided to take this next year to focus on building community.

This week we ask one thing of you. Please take 5-10 minutes to complete our survey to share how you’ve interacted with SEEN so far and how you would like to interact with SEEN going forward. The focus being interaction, engagement, and growth . . . as a community!

Complete the Survey!

Thank you for showing up for us and for our community. We’ll see you soon!
